This weeks Kick About over on Red’s Kingdom is the artwork of Lucian Freud entitled – The Painters Room. The colours of the painters room, the peculiar cut out window and of course the giraffe made me think of architecture experienced in a temperate climate. I decided to paint simplistic environments and rely solely on the colour while sprinkling in elements of Freud’s painting throughout.
